1. Who These Terms Are With
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and West Ridge Tech LLC, an Ohio limited liability company doing business as Koromia Apps ("Koromia," "we," "us," "our"), governing your use of the Kadi application ("Kadi" or the "Service").
Our Privacy Policy and the Kadi Privacy Notice are incorporated by reference.
These Terms cover Kadi only. Our other applications have their own terms.
2. Accepting These Terms
At registration we present these Terms and our Privacy Policy with an unchecked checkbox. You must check it yourself. We do not pre-check it. No account is created until you do. We record the date, time, and version of the Terms you accepted.
If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use Kadi.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Kadi only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
You represent that you are not barred from using Kadi under applicable law, are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo, and are not on any U.S. government prohibited or restricted party list.
4. Your Account
You may play under a pseudonym. We never ask for your legal name and we do not verify the display name or email address you give us. A name unconnected to your real identity works exactly as well, and no feature is withheld for using one.
But the email address must be one you can actually access. It is how you sign back in and recover your account. If you use an address you cannot reach, we cannot restore your account — we have no other way to verify you, by design.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at security@koromia.app of any unauthorized use.
One person, one account. Do not share, sell, rent, or transfer an account. Operating multiple accounts to gain an advantage in matchmaking or on leaderboards is a violation of Section 8.
Delete your account at any time: Settings → Account → Delete Account, or https://koromia.app/account-deletion. Deletion is permanent and removes your gameplay history and leaderboard entries.
5. Your License to Use Kadi
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Kadi on a device you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use.
6. Our Intellectual Property
Kadi — including its software, source code, artwork, illustrations, audio, text, card designs, gameplay mechanics, user interface, and the Koromia Apps and West Ridge Tech LLC names, logos, and trade dress — is owned by Koromia or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
Except for the license in Section 5, we grant you no rights. You may not:
- Copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of Kadi
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of it, except where this restriction is unenforceable under applicable law
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices
- Use our names, logos, or trade dress without prior written permission
- Scrape or harvest data from the Service, including leaderboard data
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service
- Use the Service or its output to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning model
Note on card games generally: the rules and mechanics of traditional card games are not owned by anyone. Our particular implementation, artwork, presentation, and code are.
7. Your Content
"Your Content" means what you submit through Kadi — your display name, avatar selection, and any messages or in-game communication.
You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and transmit it solely to operate and provide Kadi — including displaying your display name and avatar to other players and on leaderboards. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for routine backups and anything we must keep by law or to enforce these Terms.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that Your Content infringes nobody's rights.
We may, but need not, review, moderate, or remove content.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit defects, or use bots, macros, automation, scripts, or modified clients
- Manipulate leaderboards, rankings, matchmaking, or match outcomes, including through collusion or intentional losing
- Operate multiple accounts to gain an advantage
- Harass, threaten, defame, stalk, or abuse other players
- Use a display name or avatar that is obscene, hateful, harassing, or impersonates a real person — a pseudonym is fine; claiming to be a specific real person is not
- Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or promotes violence or self-harm
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, or networks
- Interfere with or overload the Service, including through denial-of-service attacks
- Circumvent rate limits, authentication, anti-cheat systems, or region restrictions
- Use Kadi commercially without our written consent
- Violate any applicable law
9. Multiplayer, Private Rooms, and Other Players
Room codes are not a security feature. Anyone who obtains a code can join. Share codes only with people you intend to play with, and treat a code as public the moment you post it anywhere.
You are responsible for whom you invite and for how you behave.
KOROMIA DOES NOT CONTROL, SCREEN, MONITOR, OR SUPERVISE THE CONDUCT OF USERS INSIDE PRIVATE ROOMS OR MULTIPLAYER SESSIONS, AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR THAT CONDUCT, FOR ANY INTERACTION BETWEEN USERS, OR FOR ANY CONTENT USERS EXCHANGE. Your interactions with other players are between you and them. We are not a party to them and disclaim all liability arising from them.
Do not share personal information with people you do not know. Your display name, avatar, and leaderboard standing are visible to other players. Choose them accordingly.

10. Anti-Cheat and Enforcement
We may investigate suspected cheating, botting, collusion, and manipulation using gameplay telemetry and server logs.
We may remove content, reset scores, wipe leaderboards, restrict features, suspend accounts, and issue permanent bans where we reasonably determine a violation has occurred — with or without prior notice and without refund.
Our determination is final. We are not obligated to disclose our detection methods, since doing so would defeat them.
If you believe a ban was issued in error, write to support@koromia.app and we will review it in good faith.
11. Purchases and Virtual Items
All purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us, and their payment, billing, and refund terms govern.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in your app store account settings.
- Refunds are handled by the app store. We may request one on your behalf but cannot guarantee it.
- Virtual items and in-game currency are licensed to you, not sold. They have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and are not transferable. Your license to them ends when your account ends, including on termination for a violation of these Terms.
- We may change prices prospectively. Changes do not affect items already purchased.
- We may modify, rebalance, or retire virtual items as part of ordinary game updates.
12. Availability and Changes to Kadi
Kadi depends on servers we operate. We make no commitment that Kadi, or multiplayer specifically, will remain available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
If we permanently shut down Kadi, we will give reasonable notice where practical.
13. Termination
You may stop using Kadi and delete your account at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other players.
On termination, your license under Section 5 ends along with any right to virtual items. Sections 6, 7 (surviving license), 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 22 survive.
14. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
KADI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KOROMIA AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND LICENSORS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT KADI WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS; THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE; THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; THAT MULTIPLAYER SERVERS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME OR LEVEL OF PERFORMANCE; OR THAT MATCHMAKING, LEADERBOARDS, OR ANTI-CHEAT WILL FUNCTION WITHOUT ERROR. WE PROVIDE NO UPTIME, LATENCY, OR PERFORMANCE GUARANTEE OF ANY KIND.
NO ADVICE OR INFORMATION, ORAL OR WRITTEN, OBTAINED FROM KOROMIA OR THROUGH KADI CREATES ANY WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED HERE.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN EXCLUSIONS. WHERE PROHIBITED, THEY APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.
15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KOROMIA, ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, VIRTUAL ITEMS, GAME PROGRESS, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE KADI, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE WERE ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR KADI SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID KOROMIA IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100.00).
THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF A LIMITED REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. THEY DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, INCLUDING FOR FRAUD, GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Koromia and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of Kadi; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) your infringement of any third party's rights.
17. Dispute Resolution
Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, contact legal@koromia.app and work with us in good faith for at least 60 days.
In the United States: Arbitration. Any dispute not resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in Erie County, Ohio, or by video or telephone at your election.
CLASS ACTION WAIVER. YOU AND KOROMIA APPS AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY INDIVIDUALLY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
Small claims. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead.
Opt out. Email legal@koromia.app with "Arbitration Opt-Out," your name, and your account email within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
Exceptions. This Section does not apply where prohibited by law.
18. Governing Law and Venue
Ohio law governs, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 17, the state and federal courts in Erie County, Ohio have exclusive jurisdiction and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, nothing here deprives you of your local mandatory protections or of your right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice in-app or by email and update the Effective Date. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you disagree, stop using Kadi and delete your account.
20. Copyright Complaints (DMCA)
If you believe content in Kadi infringes your copyright, send a notice with the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) to:

Our designated agent's mailing address is on file with the U.S. Copyright Office and is provided in the copy of these terms inside the application.
We respond to valid notices and may terminate repeat infringers.
21. Feedback
If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation or compensation. Do not send anything you consider confidential.
22. General
Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Kadi Privacy Notice are the entire agreement between you and Koromia regarding Kadi.
Severability. An unenforceable provision is modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed; the rest remains in effect.
No waiver. Failure to enforce is not waiver.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
Force majeure. We are not liable for failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
No third-party beneficiaries, except as stated in the Schedule.

Schedule — Apple App Store Additional Terms
If you obtained Kadi from the Apple App Store, the following applies and controls over any conflicting provision as to App Store distribution:
- Two-party agreement. These Terms are between you and Koromia only, not Apple. Koromia, not Apple, is solely responsible for Kadi and its content.
- Scope of license. Your license is non-transferable and limited to use on Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service Usage Rules.
- Maintenance and support. Koromia is solely responsible. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support.
- Warranty. If Kadi fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform are Koromia's sole responsibility.
- Product claims. Koromia, not Apple, is responsible for claims relating to Kadi, including product liability, failure to conform to legal requirements, and claims under consumer protection or privacy law.
- Intellectual property. Koromia, not Apple, is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging any third-party claim that Kadi infringes intellectual property rights.
- Legal compliance. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any U.S. government prohibited or restricted party list.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
