Jump
JSkips the next player. They can block it by playing a Jump of their own — and each extra Jump skips one more player.
Kadi is a Kenyan card game for two to five players — quick to learn, and sharp enough that the last card is never the easy one.
The rule that changes everything
In most card games you win by playing your last card. In Kadi you have to announce it first — and if you get the timing wrong, the win does not count.
Work your hand until one more turn would finish it. Regular cards only — you cannot win on a Jump, a Kickback, a penalty, or an Ace.
Declare it after your turn and before the next player finishes theirs. Miss that window and the status is gone.
Play your final card on the next turn. Anything else — drawing, a stray play — resets you, and you have to call it again.
Six cards do the damage
A standard 54-card deck. Most of it plays the way you would expect — these six are where the game lives.
Skips the next player. They can block it by playing a Jump of their own — and each extra Jump skips one more player.
Demands an answer. You must follow it yourself with a valid answer card, or draw. Questions can be stacked before the answer lands.
Reverses the direction of play. The player it would have skipped can block it with their own King, sending it back.
Forces the next player to draw — two, three, or five cards. Penalties chain, so the pile grows until somebody takes it or blocks with an Ace.
Name any suit and the next player must follow it. An Ace also blocks a pending penalty outright, whatever suit it is.
Every suit at once. Playable at any moment, answers any question, and carries the heaviest penalty in the deck.
Three ways to play
Three difficulties. Easy plays honestly, hard counts what you are holding and waits for the moment you slip.
Easy · Medium · Hard
One phone, two to five people, no accounts and no connection. The table passes round exactly as it would with a real deck.
2–5 players · one device
Create a room, share the code, play in real time. Turns land instantly and the game survives a dropped connection.

On the table
Cream faces on oxblood felt, a hand you can reorder before you commit, and a prompt that always tells you what the table expects next.
Kadi launches on Google Play soon. Until then, learn the rules — the first game goes better if you already know what a Question card wants.
